What are you all’s overall thoughts on Borden now that we finished The Forbidden Zone?
I was talking with Morgan a little about this and I’m curious to see what everyone else thinks.
Personally, I think I liked it. The book evoked such a visceral reaction from me that often times I couldn’t tell whether I was angry or happy just have gotten the chance to read I text that made me feel so strongly.
Did anyone have any similar reactions?

Okay! So I replied to the post right before this one about death in the ending of the novel and I talked about Henry and Catherine’s baby because when I read it I was pretty sure the baby died? I mean, Henry was told that the umbilical cord wrapped around the babies next pretty tight before delivery so to me, that meant the baby died. I mean, I know there is the probability of it surviving but having some mental disabilities due to the lack of oxygen and what not, but I was pretty freaking sure this baby died … until I read the other endings and now I am questioning what actually happened with this baby. Anyone else thinking the same? I know it is sad talking about baby death, but like I need to know what happened with this child! Maybe it is a Hemmingway thing by leaving somethings ambiguous. Thoughts?
